Trust me those fireworks are way bigger than tank shells. Today's tank shells rarely exceed 10cm wide, but these fireworks are over 1meyet wide. If you put ballistics on one of those you'd have the deadliest HEAT shell out there!

I first thought they would just become ashes and fly away, but it is actually a bunch of sand-sized oxides that will fall down. I learned this the hard way, as I was looking right up without eye protection. Thank god they weren't hot anymore.
